Festive rice with almond, cinnamon and tofu

Directions & Ingredients


  • 2.2 lbs cooked rice (1kg)
  • 5 1/3 ozs rolled roasted almonds
  • 7 ozs tofu
  • 1 tsp miced garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 1 pinch olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch chives, to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch cinnamon, to taste


  1. Drop all rice in a container and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat a drizzle of olive oil and fry the garlic until golden, then add the onion and stir until it softens.
  3. Add the tofu and the soy sauce and stir until the tofu absorbs the sauce. Turn off the heat, add the chives and raisins, and stir again. Cover the pan and let the mixture rest for a few minutes.
  4. Add this preparation with the rice, almonds and put cinnamon to taste.


  • To warm up/reheat, drizzle with a little olive oil, mix and heat in low, preheated oven covered by aluminum foil.
